As part of my volunteer work with the Shutter Paws team I’ve met a range of adorable foster carers and some amazing dogs with the Staffy and Bully Breed Rescue team (aka SABBR). I love the way this rescue has tapped into the big, beautiful hearts of many Western Australians who work FIFO and often can’t have a full time dog of their own. They even look at teaming up FIFO workers on different schedules to operate as foster tag teams which is such a great way to get these boofas into safe, secure homes full of love while they wait to be adopted.
Kate and Peachy were the latest dream team to work with and photographing this lovely dog was a joy.
Despite having only been with Kate and her partner for a short time, Peachy has settled in beautifully, showing off her lovely manners. She’s a real people pleaser with a gentle nature. As long as you’re not a cat.
