Still, Life?

Pre-COVD I was developing concepts for the body of work I would develop for my first photo book.  One of the ideas I had was to develop art for dogs.  I found an example of an art exhibition for dogs which looked amazing. I could just image doing a little art installation down at Riverside Gardens in Bayswater and letting the dogs come along and sniff and pee on the art works.

So this image made in through that concept into the Uncommon Cold. What surprised me was how hard it was to get hold of enough tennis balls during lockdown.  Sporting goods were sold out everywhere.

When I did get them, we had to hide them away because Smudge could smell them and would whinge and whine to get hold of them.  Tennis balls are his favourite thing.
